Introduction
Amul Polycure Industries Ltd. is a public limited company incorporated under the Company’s Act 1956 on 22nd May 1995. The company is formed with the objective of carrying on business of manufacturing various types of flexible moulded cushions and integral skin products of polyurethane in different densities for use in automobile, furniture and electronic industries.
The company has started its operations with manufacturing and marketing of integral skin armrests & moulded cushions.
Promoters
Mr. Gouthamchand Jain, Chairman, is a practicing chartered accountant having vast experience in Income Tax, Wealth Tax, Gift Tax, Excise Duty and doing practice for last 20 years. He is also having interest in Real Estate, Construction, Finance & Plastic Raw Materials.
Mr. Amul Bohara, Managing Director, is a graduate having 8 years experience in this line. He has also got MBA degree in the year 2000 from Maharishi University of Management. He has done projects in big concerns like Hyundai Motors Ltd. in the field of marketing.
Management
The Company is managed by its well experienced and dynamic Board of Directors, headed by Shri. Gouthamchand Jain. All the policy matters are decided jointly by the Board. To assist the directors in day to day management and proper execution of the policies, qualified engineers and other qualified personnel are being employed.
Main Products
The Company at present is manufacturing and marketing integral skin armrests and flexible moulded cushions & supplying ladder, suspension strap to Integral Coach Factory, Chennai. In future, it is planning to expand its activities and undertake several other products made of Polyol & Isocyanate. Another line of the company’s manufacturing activity is polypropylene moulded components for the furniture and automobile industry. Here is a list of our products:
- Integral Skin Armrests: Armrests are used for manufacturing of office furniture and automotive seats. Our armrests are of different sizes and specifications.
- Flexible Foam Moulded Cushions: Flexible foam cushions are used in the furniture industry, automotive, household purposes, etc. These are manufactured in any size and shape depending upon the requirements
- Ladder and Suspension Straps: The ladder and suspension straps are supplied to Integral Coach Factory in different models as per the requirement
- Other Accessories: The Company also makes OEM products for certain big concerns dealing in dental, surgical, and cleaning equipments.

Plant & Machinery
The company is having all imported state of the art reaction injection moulding machines from ITALY and Germany. The main machineries are as under:
- High Pressure foam dispensing machines from ITALY by SAIP in capacities of 40 Kg/Min., 30 Kg/Min., and 60 Kg/Min. respectively
- High Pressure Foam Dispensing Machine from Elastrogan with 19 Kg/Min. Capacity
- Genset of 82.5 KVA
- Industrial Chiller Plants (5 Nos.)
- Air Dryers (3 Nos.)
- Star Testing Machine with computer controlled features for testing density
- Soundless Compressors (2 Nos.)
- Conventional Compressors (3 Nos.)
- Conveyor Belt
- Turn Tables (2 Nos.)
- Lathe Machine
- Plastic Injection Moulding Machine (Haitian, China – 380 Tonnes)
- Many other ancillary machines.
Mould Making
The company has got its own mould fabrication unit for manufacturing epoxy moulds.
Factory Location and Area
Our factory is located at Kailasam Street, Chennai – 81, a very strategic place just 6 km from Chennai Central and 25 km from the Chennai airport. The total constructed area is 11000 sq ft.
